Hi everyone and thanks for reading my BIO, here is some more information on myself and my DJ background.
Right well I am 24 and live in Knaresborough near Harrogate (North Yorkshire) which is quite close to Leeds.
I am a DJ specialising in anything from Funky/Tech/Electro house music and began my career 7 years ago at the some what old (compared to some DJs) age of 17.I have always loved music and it has been a big part of my life since a very young age, being a massive Michael Jackson fan is what got me into listening to different types and styles of music.
My influences range from Daft Punk, Justice, DJ Sneak, Michael Jackson, Sebastien Leger, Deadmau5, Chris Lake, Electric Press, Spirit Catcher, Ralph Lawson.
I began clubbing in Leeds with a big group of mates around this time, discovering really good club nights such as Speedqueen, Federation, Glasshouse, Back to Basics and totally fell in love with the music being played. After a few months of going and raving my arse off, watching DJs from the side and listening to countless mixes I decided I need to get in to this, so I invested in some cheap direct drive Numark vinyl decks and began trying to teach myself how to mix and play funky house music.
After reading countless books and “bedroom” DJing for some time I felt the time was right to try and get myself out there, so one of my friends offered me the chance to play for a night in a club called Iguana in Knaresborough, playing alongside a live bongo player and a mixed genre DJ line up which was a massive success!
Everything started after this and found myself playing for nights in and around the Knaresborough and Harrogate area and by this time it was 2007.

2008 was a great year for me, I had began to get regular slots playing at Iguana in Knaresborough and managed to get a residency on a Saturday night, which i called KONTACT which was really good and I had managed to get a really good crowd in there regularly.
I had also played a couple of sets for a night called Sheeps in Knaresborough, which had regular guest DJs from Leeds nights such as Le Bloc, Push:On, Down N Dirty and the well known french house specialist Miguel Campbell of Outcross Records.
Another highlight for me in 2008 was playing for a night called Shakedown at Carringtons nightclub in Harrogate, for which I was playing alongside the now big talents of Darius Syrossian and Donna Beats (Viva Music).

Gigs were really picking up for me in 2009 and I was playing for nights such as Sick Disko, Phreakktt, at this time I found out there was a DJ competition going on at Moko Lounge in Harrogate so I decided to enter and managed to get through to the semi finals after some very tough competition.

2010 has been a fantastic year so far, beginning the year with a bang as I managed to win the Harrogates Got Talent DJ competition, check www.harrogate-nights.co.uk for more info. In this competition I was put against 13 other great DJs from areas such as Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford, Harrogate and surrounding areas. Winning this has opened so many doors for me having residencies at DJs Unite, Be Scene at Club Zero and many more events to be confirmed in Leeds such as Knights Project at Stinkys Peephouse.
I look forward to what this year will bring as I would like DJing to be my sole career, as Iam 100% commited to playing music I (and the crowd) love, and want to expand my profile as an established DJ, playing for bigger events and larger crowds!
