Mark began clubbing in the late 1980s at the Warehouse in Leeds and the Hacienda in Manchester. Then Sasha opened Delight @ Shelley’s, Stoke and this is where it all began.
Mark played at small club venues around Leeds and Manchester before starting a dj residency at Ricky’s in his hometown of Leeds. He then aquired his first major gig at the Eclipse club in Coventry in 1991 playing alongsideSasha. Mark’s name soon got around the club scene as he began playing at many different venues around the north of England along side DJ’s such as Grooverider, Nipper & Eric, DJ Welly, John Kelly, Steve Luigi, Tony Ross, Steve Williams, Mike Pickering, CJ Bolland, DJ Sy, Rob Tissera, Ian Ossia, Utah Saints, Frank de Wulf, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, Sasha & Dave Seaman.

His residences were at The Warehouse, The Gallery, The Pleasure Rooms, Highflyers, Soak, Kaos, Up Yer Ronson and Ark at university complexes before offically opening the Glasshouse in 1996.
Along the way Mark has also played on local Radio stations and has had many a mention on BBC Radio One. He also guests at big festival events throughout the UK playing his unique style of house that keeps the crowds jumping. Mark now works for Retro Heaven, Leeds Loves.. the Soak & Kaos Reunions and guests at other venues around the UK taking him to clubs such as Gatecrasher & Pacha alongside DJ’s Graeme Park, Allister Whitehead, Jon Pleased Wimmin, K-Klass, Danny Rampling, Dave Seaman, Ian Ossia, Marshall, Brandon Block, Al Mackenzie & Tony Ross.Mark Holliday 06 11 09 - Back To The Future by Mark Holliday
